Some of the largest global private equity firms have directed their resources to provide significant support to COVID-19 affected communities around the world.

KKR has created a $50 million global relief fund dedicated to supporting frontline medical workers, ensuring food security to vulnerable communities, providing benefits and financial coaching for affected employees among KKR portfolio companies and assisting small businesses facing difficulties (Reuters).

Advent established the Advent Global Relief Fund to support a number of initiatives to help affected communities around the globe including delivering urgent food and medical supplies, building new hospitals and supporting employees of their portfolio companies.
