Brendon Harper
Head of Policy & Research, Australian Investment Council
Brendon is the Head of Policy & Research at the Australian Investment
Council. He is responsible for the development and delivery of the
Council’s policy and advocacy initiatives with federal and state
governments, and government agencies across Australia. He also manages the
Council’s research work.
Previously, Brendon worked as an Advisor at the Australian Prudential
Regulation Authority, as an Associate Director at the Australian Banking
Association and as a Senior Analyst at the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Brendon has a Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and, a
Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business from the
University of Newcastle. He has also attended the London School of
Economics’ Executive Summer School Programme.
He lives in Maroubra where he volunteers as an ethics teacher at his
daughters’ school and as a Surf Lifesaver at Maroubra Beach.
