Mark Leads KPMG’s sustainability and climate change group in NSW and the KPMG Responsible Investment team. He is passionate about the intersection of capital markets and the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance of companies.

Mark has 15 years’ experience in the provision of sustainability advisory and assurance services across a wide range of industries and businesses and brings a deep experience in reporting environmental and social performance and in the development of strategy, targets and KPI and data reporting processes. Mark is on a number of ESG working groups including the Australian Sustainable Finance Institute, the ESG working group of Australian Financial Markets Association as well as the AIC ESG working group. He has worked with a number of large Australian and International Private Equity houses to provide ESG due diligence process, ESG strategy for both the Fund and portfolio companies and ESG performance reporting. Mark has worked with a number of ASX 100 companies, large Australian Super funds and asset managers to build understand exposure and reporting requirements under TCFD . Mark is the auditor for leading ESG asset managers Australian Ethical Investments and Alphinity.
