Manager, Responsible Investment – Climate Change, Aware Super

Kate Webster took up the position as the inaugural Manager, Responsible Investment – Climate Change at Aware Super in 2022, focusing on Aware Super’s climate change strategy and portfolio decarbonisation. Prior to this role Kate was a Senior Analyst for 3.5 years at Aware focused on integration of responsible investment principles within the c. AUD150bn portfolio, primarily focused on the infrastructure, real estate and credit investments. Additionally, Kate is heavily involved in measuring the impact on the environment and society of Aware’s investments.

Prior to joining Aware, Kate has worked in research at the University of Sydney as well as utilities and infrastructure debt and equity financing in Australia. Kate holds a BSc. (Hons) from Manchester University, UK, an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a Masters of Sustainability from the University of Sydney.
