Terms and conditions - 2024


  1. All presentations and circulations from Australian Investment Council (‘Council) events are done for the purposes of information only, these do not constitute advice. Please seek your own advice in relation to your specific needs. Circulation copyright belongs to the author.
  2. The Council reserves the right to alter this program and the line-up of speakers, review registrations or cancel this event at its sole discretion.
  3. Registration for Council events must be accompanied by a credit card (only) payment online via the shopping cart link at point of registration. A tax invoice will be provided via the online process.
  4. The Council reserves the right to cancel at our sole discretion any applications/registrations and/or refuse entry into the event if payment is not successfully received via credit card at point of online registration.
  5. Any other form of payment must be agreed to with the Council by contacting [email protected] and payments must be received at least seven (7) working days prior to the event date.
  6. Cancellations must be advised by email to [email protected] and received by the Council before 5pm, at least five (5) working days prior to the day of an event.
  7. Refunds will not be granted if a registrant fails to attend this event or does not adhere to point six (6) above.
  8. Substitutions may be made at any time.
  9. Any such substitutions made as per point eight (8) above must be from within the same organisation unless otherwise agreed to by the Council in writing.
  10. While the Council will make every reasonable effort to accommodate any dietary requirements arising from a substitution with less than 5 working days’ notice, however, it may not always be possible due to individual venue requirements and policy.
  11. The Council tries to cater for dietary requirements on a best endeavours basis by collecting information about such requirements and passing these on to third-party event caterers. The Council is not responsible for the fulfilment of these requirements by the caterer and does not assume liability for adverse reactions to food consumed or items one may come into contact with while eating at a Council event.
  12. Registrants may have their name and contact details included on the delegate list which may be distributed to other delegates and/or sponsors in relation to the specific event. If a delegate(s) does not wish to be listed in the delegate list, delegate must note this in their registration/application form’s Special Needs field.
